Privacy & cookies.

Spic N Span uses the contact details you provide to respond to cleaning enquiries. For questions about your information, email enquiries@spic-span.co.uk.

The enquiry builder

The enquiry builder prepares a message in your email application. The information you type is held in the current page and is not submitted to a website database. You decide whether to send the prepared email. The website does not save a copy of your entries. Your browser or email application may retain information according to its own settings.

If you choose to send an email, the company receives the information you include. This may include your name, email, telephone number, business name, property location and details of the requested work. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or details unrelated to your enquiry.

How enquiry information is used

Enquiry information is used to reply to your request, discuss your requirements and prepare a quotation. If you become a customer, relevant information may also be needed to arrange and administer the service.

To ask about access to, correction of or deletion of your enquiry information, contact the company using the email address above.

Recruitment & CV applications

Spic N Span is responsible for the recruitment information you submit. The careers form is for expressions of interest in future cleaning opportunities. It collects your name, contact details, town or area, work interests, availability, experience and any CV you choose to attach.

With your permission, we use this information to consider you for suitable work and contact you about an opportunity. This permission is separate from marketing: we do not add applicants to a marketing list. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing enquiries@spic-span.co.uk, quoting your application reference if you have it. Withdrawing does not affect how information was lawfully used before withdrawal.

Unlike the cleaning-enquiry builder, the careers form submits information directly to private website storage. Access to application records and CV downloads is restricted to the authorised website owner. The company may use relevant information when discussing a role with you. Hosting and storage providers process information to operate the website; CVs are not published in a public gallery or made available through public file links.

Your expression of interest is available for review for six months from submission. At that point it is excluded from the inbox and downloads, and the record and file are removed during the next automatic cleanup when applications are submitted or the owner opens the inbox. The owner can delete an application sooner, including following a withdrawal request. If an employment process progresses, the company will explain any separate records it needs to keep. Copies you email directly or which are downloaded must also be managed by the company.

Please provide only relevant work information. Do not include identity documents, bank details, your date of birth, medical information or other sensitive personal information. There are no automated hiring decisions or CV scoring on this website.

To ask for access, correction or deletion of your information, or to withdraw your interest, contact the company at the email address above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

To protect the form from repeated submissions, the website uses short-lived, hashed network identifiers and attempt counts. These expire after an hour and are removed during routine cleanup. Your entries are not saved in browser storage.

Cookies and technical information

This website does not add advertising cookies or marketing analytics. The enquiry builder does not save your information in browser storage. The hosting service may process technical data, such as request logs, to deliver and protect the website, and may use essential access or security features.

Google, Facebook, DexCloud and your chosen email application operate separately from this website. If you follow those links or send an email, the relevant service’s privacy information will apply.
